BB’s calls itself “The Flavor of Franklin” and they are correct as far as smoked chicken wings and beef brisket is concerned. BB’s is a “drive through only” operation located in a small wooden building about half the size of a double wide trailer. You’ll know you are there when you see the bright yellow awnings , the pig sign on the roof, and the steady line of cars driving through. BB’s offers an extensive menu: Ribs; pulled pork, chicken, and turkey; rib tips, smoked bologna sandwiches, beef brisket, and BBQ stuffed potatoes, and lots of sides. They do several things extremely well. Our high fat and flavor favorites are the smoked chicken wings, the beef brisket, and the “white” BBQ sauce, which is of course a secret recipe, and has a great latent pepper kick. They offer mild and spicy red sauce as well, but the white sauce is special. So is the hospitality. Please tell them I sent you….
